We are committed to centering Black voices and community to:

• ​Provide general ongoing outreach and education in Black communities emphasizing bi-directional communications (we learn from each other!)
• Address Resource Location Gaps in SF (partnering with community-based organizations to serve Western Addition, OMI, Potrero Hill in addition to BVHP)
• Help make the UCSF institution a better partner with the Black community
• Partner with the Black community to address health inequities, health disparities
• Partner with Black community to promote Black healing, wellness, and prosperity
• Develop community of health care providers and professionals who are skilled at engaging and partnering with Black patients and community to achieve the above
• Promote community engagement & partnering models, research (including supporting community-centered research/researchers), care models, training models, and advocacy to achieve the above
